Michael E. Walsh was a graduate of St. Paul’s Catholic High School in Bristol, CT and Fordham University in Bronx, NY. He was an avid runner, and was training for a marathon on the day he was tragically killed. Michael aspired to become a physician. He was accepted to and planned to matriculate at St. Louis University medical school in August 2015. Michael devoted numerous hours each week to volunteering at the food pantry and homeless shelter Friends in Service to Humanity of Northwestern CT (FISH NWCT). Proceeds from the race will be donated to FISH NWCT.
