Description
  • Named "Race of the Month" for June, 2008 by Runners World Magazine. This Annual event - hosted by Fairfield Firefighters - draws some of the finest runners from throughout the Northeast to Jennings Beach.
  • Over 3000 athletes and family will compete in the three (3) races to benefit the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation Camp for Kids and other charities.

  • The race is accessible by Metro North Railroad with free shuttle buses from the Fairfield train station.

    Fairfield Half Marathon
  • - Starting and finishing on Fairfields Jennings Beach, the Half Marathon (13.1 mile) course winds past stately mansions, picturesque beaches and quaint bridges in Fairfield, Southport and Greenfield Hill.

    Fairfield Five Kilometer
  • - Starts and finishes at Jennings Beach. The course is flat and very fast.
  • The 5K race starts ten (10) minutes after the Half Marathon.

    Kids Fun Run
  • - A One Kilometer "Fun Run" for children starts immediately after the 5K.
  • The course follows nearby residential streets and finishes on the beach.
