_ The 2018 Sweet Onion Run 5K Event:

Join us for the 2nd Annual Sweet Onion Run 5K, organized by the Kiwanis Club of North Gwinett on Saturday, April 21st @ 8:00am.

The Kiwanis Club of North Gwinnett is a community service organization, consisting of business men and women who value the giving of their time and talents in the service of others.  Monies raised from this event are returned locally in the support of the Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, Gwinnett Children’s Shelter, North Gwinnett Co-Op, Eagle Ranch and scholarships for our local high school seniors.

This 5K is also the kick-off for the Sweet Onion Fundraiser for Scholarships. Redemption Coupons are selectable during registration for 10lb. bags of Sweet Vidalia Onions. These include free delivery after May 1st in the 30518 and 30519 zip codes or local pick-up from the S & S Ace Hardware Store at 4300 Buford Dr, Buford, GA 30518.

RACE TIME:

8:00am

COURSE:

BRAND NEW course in Historic Downtown Sugar Hill.  Water stations along route and at start/finish line.  Mostly flat, starting and ending near City Hall on Temple Drive. Chip Timed!

COST:

Early Bird - $20.00 until 3/2 @ 11:59pm

$25.00 - 3/3 to 4/3 @ 11:59pm

$30.00 -  to Race Day

PACKET PICK-UP:

Friday, April 20th from 4-7pm at The Gazebo across from Sugar Hill City Hall (5039 West Broad St, Sugar Hill, GA 30518)

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Race Day registration starting @ 7:00am outside Sugar Hill City Hall.

PARKING:

Plenty of parking at City Hall and across the street at Sugar Hill Church, 5091 Brogdon Blvd.  Nice CLEAN, REAL restrooms at City Hall.

AWARDS:

Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Age Groups 3 deep: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and Up.

T-SHIRTS:

All pre-registered participants guarenteed a race t-shirt if signed up by April 7th.
