• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Rampace 5k supports the journalism students and the athletic department of Rockville High School.  The proceeds generated from this event help defray the costs of producing the school’s newspaper and other media-related products, as well as support our athletes.  We are a non-profit organization.  

The race begins at the RHS stadium, continues up Baltimore Road, snakes around the Rockville Civic Center and finishes back at the stadium.

We try to provide a race experience that is unique and fun.  We offer prizes to top finishers.

Event details and schedule

5k starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Rockville High School football stadium, makes a right outside the stadium, a right at the end of the parking lot, goes up Baltimore Road, enters Rockville Civic Center and runners return to finish the race in the RHS stadium.

Early bird registration is $15 for students and $25 for adults. Regular registration after October 14 is $20 for students and $30 for adults. Race day t-shirt is guaranteed for all pre-registrations made before October 29, 2016. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed after that date. Race-day registration accepted from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. No shirt available for race-day registrants.

T-shirts and bibs can be picked up during regular school hours in room 2033 on November 11, at the spaghetti dinner at RHS that evening, or the morning of the race.
