The 4th Annual Santa Fun Run 5K hosted by the Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad takes place Decemeber 09, 2017 on a scenic historical farm located on the Patuxent River in Southern MD.  The 5k will take place on a dirt road with only two small incline hills and a few curves as the course sends you around the beautiful green fields down to the river bank then back up to the finish line.  

As a participant, you will enjoy the pre and post-race Bon Fire and Hot Apple Cider. Come mingle before stripping down to your swimsuit, festive holiday gear or costume and hitting the farm. Dress in Holiday Flair, slap some Jingle Bells on your shoes or paint some decorations across your chest, whatever you do, have fun.

As a spectator, you will watch the fools in Santa hats, swimsuits or costumes jogging around the farm, through cornfields doing jumping jacks and singing Christmas Carols. Cheer them on, run up and give 'em a hug or blow them a warm kiss
