Description

The 3rd Annual Hometown Hope Run is a benefit run for the Gospel Rescue Mission in Muskogee.  The race starts and ends at the Gospel Rescue Mission at the corner of S 2nd St and Elgin (326 S 2nd St Muskogee, OK).  There will be a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk and chip timed 5k on a certified course (click here to see the map) that is over 80% on the very flat Centennial Trail.  

The 5k race start time will be 8:00 am and the Fun Run will start a few minutes later. This is race is sactioned by the United States Track and Field Assocation (USATF) and medals will be awarded to USATF Standard Age Groups (Every 5 year Age Groups).  

Key Dates and Details:

- 5k Cost Info: Pre-registration fee is $25 before or on 9/4, 9/5 to 9/10 is $30, Race day registration is $30

- Fun Run: Pre-registration fee is $20 before or on 9/4, 9/5 to 9/10 is $25, Race day registration is $25

- T-shirts: Guarenteed for all who sign up before August 30th. Shirts after that are first come first serve.

- Packet pick up/Registration: Available at the Gospel Rescue Mission (326 S 2nd St Muskogee, OK) the Friday before the race from 10:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00.  Packet Pickup and REgistration is also available on race day starting at 7:00 am.

About the Gospel Rescue Mission:

The Gospel Rescue Mission, Inc. is a full service homeless shelter
dedicated to meeting the needs of the poor and the homeless of
Muskogee since 1931. They are a 501/c/3 non-profit corporation
whose stated purpose is to maintain a benevolent and charitable
program administering to the transient and hometown people in
need. Surviving on donations and volunteers the Gospel Rescue
Mission strives to maintain the highest possible Christian standard
in all its work by providing:
