Captain Jim's 5K Walk/run & 2.8K Kayak...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

$30 entry fee if signed up by October 15th.
$40 entry fee after October 15th.  Registration Deadline is October 25th.  Additional $15 for kayak rental.

Captain Jim's 1st Annual 5K run & 2.8K kayak!
-This new and exciting adventure race consists of a 2.8K paddle on the beautiful canals in Gibraltar, followed by a 5K walk/run on the waterfront streets of Gibraltar. Bring your own Kayak and life preserver - OR- limited Kayak rentals are available for an additional $15 fee. Be sure to secure your kayak soon! Lifejackets will be included in rental cost.  Youth & adult participants welcome. Races will be competed in separate waves to avoid congested area as well as safety. T-shirts & Captain Jim's Kayak & Marina gift certificates will be awarded to winners of each age bracket. Tshirt, trophy, & drybag for overall winner. Whether you are a paddle rat or 5K warrior this race will challenge your mind, body, & spirit. Not to mention the scenic views of the Detroit River/Lake Erie throughout the course.
