Brief Description

The 3rd Annual Devil's Chase 6.66 Miler is a very unique and special Halloween road race! The course is awesome, devil's will be running around and the post race Witch City Salem fun will be worth the trip! We will not disappoint!

2000 Runner Field!

In 2011 the Devils Chase will close at 2000 runners. Make sure to register early to ensure your spot. Last year close to 1400 registered.

Registration Fees

Pre-Reg is $30 (add $5 after Oct 1) *Run for the Plummer Home for boys* for an addtional $5 donation, 100% of this goes directly to the Plummer Home along with additional race proceeds.

Race Start

The race will start promptly at 8am! There will be plenty of pora-lets this year so please plan accordingly.

Long Sleeve Tech Shirts

Tech shirts are limited to first 1300 registered runners! This race will most definitley will sell out! So register early to get a shirt! (sizes are not guaranteed)

BIB 666

How much are you willing to pay to get BIB # 666 for the Devils Chase?? The highest bidder will be recognized during the award ceremony with... A framed 666 bib, race pint glass, a commemorative cotton long sleeve Devil Chase and Zombie Dance T-shirt, free entry into 2011 Devils Chase, Devils Chase red wine and ale. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Stephen O'Grady Scholarship Fund. The bidding will begin Oct 15th and will be listed for 10 days. Let the bib bidding begin :)

Age Group and OTHER Award Categories

1st overall male & female Age Group: 1st, 2nd and 3rd M/F in each age group: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,60-69, 70+ Top Three M/F Plummer (unless you placed in your age group)

Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up

Thurs October 27th 2-6pm, Friday October 28th 10am-7pm at B&S SPORT SCIENCE, SALEM MA. B&S SPORT SCIENCE: Mapquest 85 Leavitt St, Salem MA. Enter SHETLAND PARK, bare left and you will see the B&S Event Management Trailer and a banner over our door. We are Dock 19/20. Just come in!!

Race Day Packet Pick-Up

Race day packet pick-up will take place at the race site starting at 6:30am. There will be race day registration available.

Cash Prize To Top Male and Female Devil's!

The first place male and female devil costume finishers will win a cash prize of $100.

Parking on Race Day:

There is PLENTY of parking spots at Salem Willows where the race starts and finishes.

Devil Costume Awards

For 2011 we are going 15 deep for the best devil costumes. Devils Beer, Wine and other goodies will be awarded for creativity, detail and design. At 7:30 please report to the B&S Fitness Canopy for judging. Awards will be given before the award ceremony at the end of the race.

Best Halloween Costume Awards

We will be awarding the top three runners with the best costumes. These awards are for the best Halloween Costumes!! Please report to the B&S Fitness Canopy at 7:30am for judging. Awards will be given before the award ceremony at the end of the race.

Aid Stations

There will be TWO aid stations along the course - we will be serving Death Juice at the first and Blood Fuel at the second. There is also a SECRET..sssshh..... Aid Station along the course brewing up something extra special for runners looking for a little extra kick! All I can tell you is that you will find them in the Willows area close to the finish line!

Zombie Dance for Devil Chase Runners!

B&S Fitness partnered with Debra Crosby's Talent Quest TV Show to organize and direct a reenactment of Michael Jackson's Thriller to give the Devil's Chase runner's a little entertainment. More details TBA.
