The 8th Annual Light the Way 5k at the Fort Missoula Regional Park, December 22nd at 6:30pm
Kids FREE Fun Run with Santa at 6:15pm! See below for details.

This festive evening run features festive lights around the course, holiday music, and a warming fire. Christmas cookies & hot cocoa served at the finish!

REGISTRATION

• The "Early Bird" Fee: $22   (November 1st through November 30th)
• The "Rest of Us" Fee: $27  (December 1st through Sunday, December 14th)
• The "Procrastinator" Fee: $32 (Monday, December 15th through Thursday, December 21st)
• The "11th Hour" Fee (Also Known As Race Day Registration): $35 - Only available at Fort Missoula Regional Park on Friday, December 22nd from 5pm-6:00pm, if spots are still available.
   

PACKET PICK-UP 

Thursday December 21st: Runner's Edge basement from 3pm-6pm
Friday, December 22nd: Fort Missoula Regional Park from 5pm-6pm. 

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE?
Each participant will receive LED wristbands. We highly encourage you to wear you wristband during the run! And any other time you are running in the dark for safety. Oh yeah and let's not forget the hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, live band, glow-sticks, bonfire and a special appearance by Santa and even Mrs. Claus. 

PARKING
Parking for Fort Missoula Regional Park is located on the South side of the soccer fields. There is plenty of parking, but carpooling is still awesome!

STAY BRIGHT & SAFE
We strongly encourage the use of headlamps, flashlights and any other awesome, festive item you can find to light your way. Please have fun with your running outfit! Wear your best (or worst!) Holiday attire for this race. We also encourage the use of traction devices on your running shoes. We may have rain, ice, snow, all three or none of the above. Be prepared for all types of weather conditions. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION
NEW COURSE for 2017! This year the Light the Way 5k will be held at Fort Missoula Regional Park. The course will follow one big loop around the perimeter of the park before jumping on a smaller loop for the remaining 1/2 mile. Start and finish will be near the Bella Vista Pavillion.

ARE WE GETTING TIMED THIS YEAR?
Yes! Chip timing for Light the Way 5k will be done by Competitive Timing. Don't worry though, this is still the same family-friendly, fun-run that you've come to love, but with immediate and accurate results.

FUN RUN
Have your children run with Santa at 6:15pm for this FREE kids fun run before the start of the 5k. No need to sign up! Please meet by the 5k Start Line at 6:10pm. 

OH YEAH, AND LET'S NOT FORGET...
Limit 350 participants. We’re sorry, but no refunds for this race. Running a race in December in Montana is a gamble with the weather. We appreciate you gambling with us!
