_ The 2018 Polar Bear Run & Dunk 5K/10K/1 Mile Kids Run:

Start your resolution early. Join us for the 5th Annual Polar Bear Run & Dunk 5K/10K Trail Run on Saturday, January 6th along the majestic San Joaquin River, through riparian habitat and around Bass Lake.  10K participants will continue on around Eagal Lakes and through ranch to the finish line.  All participants can choose to stay dry or for the most daring,  choose to Polar Bear into the frigid waters of the lake with a quick dunk.  All pre-registered dunkers will have "I DUNKED" on the back of the official race shirt. ( must register as run/dunk participant online prior to 12/29/2017  in order to receive "I DUNKED" on the back).  NOTE:  Registered 5k/10k run only participants will not say "I DUNKED"

Not a runner... that's OK.. Walkers welcome to join the fun... or for those that just want to Polar Bear dunk with friends and family for a shot at the BEST DUNK contest! Bring your dunk "A" game for a shot at prizes.  Prizes for best Beary Flop, Cub Ball, Ice Bear Dive, Bikini Bear, Bear and Cub Tandem, and more.   Online registered dunkers will receive an official " I DUNKED" short sleeve event shirt if registered prior to 12/29/2017.

Each 5K/10K participant will receive a race number, raffle ticket, long sleeve official event shirt, custom event medal, smores' at the bonfire and a champagne toast (over 21).  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons to top finishers overall male/female 5K and 10K.

Hey kids! You can join in too in our 1 mile kids Cub Dash ! You must be ages 4-10 years and must register online to participate. Kids will receive a race number, official short sleeve event shirt, finishers medal and a hot cocoa and toasted marshmallow smores' by the fire..  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons to top overall finishers.

We will have warm changing rooms, bonfire, and hot beverages to warm up by. For those over 21, there will be a champagne toast for the new year.  Additional hot food and beverages will also be available for purchase in the Bar and Bistro. Music by DJ Chago and post race celebration with raffle.

Event happens RAIN or SHINE.  Absolutely No refunds will be given.
