_ The 2018 Tent City Marathon:

The Tent City Marathon team has put together an unforgettable race experience! With free race photos, finisher's beer or cupcakes, on-course entertainment, multiple on-course aid stations, post race live music and a racers TLC tent for Post Mileage Yoga, foam roller area, and massage. The Tent City Marathon is sure to be a memorable and fun time on California's beautiful central coast. We have also earned the official sanctioning from the USATF.

Not only does this event feature a decked out course with beautiful rolling hills, but it’s also a fundraiser for The Atascadero Printery Foundation, a group dedicated to preserving and rehabilitating Atascadero's historic Printery Building into a community center for the Arts and Sciences. This makes you a badass that cares.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick up is on Saturday from 10am-5pm at the Sunken Gardens of Atascadero. Do not forget your ID! You will sign a waiver (after proving who you are) before receiving your sweet swag bag. If you can’t make it to packet pick up, there is early check in on Sunday morning beginning at 5am. Check in will close at 5:45am so please plan accordingly!

The weather is lovely in March!  You will want to dress warmly as it is cool in the morning. Absolutely perfect for running! There will be a bag check if you need to shed some layers before you start. Just remember the race will continue as planned rain or shine!
