_ The 2018 Inaugural Frosty Owl 5K:

Join us for the 1st Frosty Owl 5K at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, GA.  Proceeds will support the activities and services of the Athens Tech Alumni Association.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 8AM

5K: Starts at 9AM

Awards: Presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, Grandmaster M/F and top three M/F in standard 5-year age groups.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 1/12/18.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2018 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
