Our Mission at Shine-Light is to seek to provide a wellness environment for individuals with Autism through radiating dedication, purpose, and devotion in our daily service.

Shine-Light is a unique wellness community created with the distinct purpose of providing a brighter life and future for individuals with autism. Shine-Light serves as a guiding light for individuals and their families by leading the way in support and services for individuals with autism. We seek the light in each person we support and join them on their journey of discovery.

We know that autism is a highly misunderstood and challenging condition with a broad spectrum of factors. We also realize that doctors and researchers are constantly learning more about autism and that new methods of teaching are always evolving.

At Shine-Light, we are committed to remaining on the cutting edge of autism related research and teachings to be a leader in providing new and proven methods to the individuals we support. We focus our efforts on understanding the very unique qualities and characteristics of each person we support in order to better understand how we can help them shine their inner light.

For this reason, 100% of the 5K Glow Run/Walk proceeds will go directly to the individuals we support. The funds will allow us to purchase technology such as tablets and other devices that will assist in keeping them safe and grant them the opportunity to communicate in a way which will enhance their lives. We are excited to share that we are also planning to take them all on a trip to Disney World! We look forward to the many smiles and wonderful memories that this trip will provide for some time to come.

10:00am:       Vender, Food Trucks, and Bouncy House Arrivals/Set-up

3:30pm:         Guest Arrivals

3:30-4:30pm: On-Site Registration

4:30-5:00pm: Welcome, Prayer, Speakers, Sponsors, and Honored Guest Recognized

5:30pm:         Race Begins

6:45pm:         Awards Ceremony 

7:00pm:         Glow-in-the-Dark After Party and Live Entertainment

Course Details

Start: 1 meter south of the 3rd Light Pole wich is 75 meters south of the intersection of Rowan &Ray Street "east side of the road."

M1: 13 feet east of the 1st Light Pole ,which is 25 meters from the intersection of Ray & Franklin "south side of the road." (Transportation Museum)

M2: Metal Culvery 4 meters east of the intersection of Dick & Russell Street "north side of the road."

M3: 15 meters south of the intersection of Mason & Ray Street. Online with the electrical outlet.

Finish: One foot west of the flowerbed, which is 1 meter west of the 3rd Light Pole on Park access road. (By Bank of America)
