2018 Three Rivers Young Marines DDR 5k Dash

Since 1959 the Young Marines have been a source for fun, adventure and learning. This youth organization is for both boys and girls ages 8 to 18. The Young Marines mission is to strengthening the life of each individual through the teachings of self confidence, academic achievement, honoring veterans and good citizenship. This helps to promote a healthy lifestyle that is conducive to being a productive member of our community.

As part of our mission and to raise funds for our programs the Young Marines will be hosting a 5K Road Race in conjunction with the National Disposal of Expired Prescription Drugs Event. Bring your expired and unwanted prescription drugs for proper disposal and participate in our annual 5k Road Race. Your involvement is essential to the viability of Eastern Connecticut's  Three Rivers Chapter of the Young Marines! 

This rolling 5k road race will wind through beautiful Mohegan Park in Norwich, Connecticut. Day of registration and packet pick up will begin at 7:00 am. Race start is at 8:00. Youth 17 and under early registration pricing is only$20. Adult early registration is $25. Day of registration is $30 and $35 respectively. 

Awards will be given to the top three overall Men and Women. Both Men and Women winners ages 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69 and 70 plus will be recognized.
