Sistrunk 5K - Chris Smith AllStar Classic

The Sistrunk 5K is an exciting race near downtown fort lauderdale on the Historic Sistrunk Boulevard. Come run or walk through history and have a great time. This race travels down the Historic Sistrunk Boulevard in the Dorsey Riverbend Neighborhood close to downtown Fort Lauderdale and Fat Village. Joins us afterwards for a light continental brunch and awards presentations.
This amazing race experience supports the Chris Smith All Star Classic and their efforts to end childhood obesity and get kids to play. In addition, this race will support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and Scleroderma Foundation.

The 3rd Annual Sistrunk 5K will begin in Delevoe Park on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 7:00 am.
Starting Location
Sistrunk 5K will take place at Delevoe Park 560 NW 27th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33311.
Directions
From I-95: Take the Broward Boulevard Exit. Go West on Broward Boulecard. Go 1/4 of mile to NW 27th Avenue and turn right (North). Go 1/3 of mile and the entrance is on your right.

6:00 am to 6:55 am: Race Check In, Packet Pick Up and Race Registration
Immediately following the race - Presentation of Medals and Awards Program with Refreshments
Timing and Scoring
The Sistrunk 5K is timed event. The course is certified by Gene Witkowski. The race is certified by Accuchip.
Awards
The top three finishers in each category will receive a trophy. Overall Male and Female Top Finishers.

Registration Information
You can register early by visiting Active.com or the Sistrunk5K.com website. You can also register on-site. Registration is $20 before Feb. 20, 2018.
You can also register as a Team. If you are a company or simply have a group of friends who want to participate in the Sistrunk 5K, we would love for your team to join us.
Volunteers
Volunteers are essential part of the Sistrunk 5K - from cheering runners on, to manning water stations, and helping with refreshments. High School Students are welcome and we will provide letters of service to volunteers on the day of the race. if you would like to volunteer, please contact co-event Chair, Stacy Anderson 754-368-1945.
