2018 5K Music Run...

_ The 2018 5K Music Run:

In conjunction with the William Burchett Foundation (WBF) Scholarship, the 2018 2nd annual 5K for $5K Music Run is a fun-filled race for the whole family! Come out and enjoy time with other runners and show your support for music education for at-risk youth. Funds raised from this event will benefit non-profit organizations that have a passion for putting music in the hands, hearts, and minds of youth who might not normally have the access to this type of enrichment

Event details and schedule

Packet pick up starts at 7am.

Racetime is 9am and the raffle with music will begin at 11am-1pm.  The course is a 5k or 3.2 mile run that goes along the lake on a dirt path with plenty of sites, music and water stations.  

Runners and guests are encouraged to arrive by 8:30 am and there is ample parking in the Pelican Point picnic area in Bear Creek State park.

Please bring your id and waivers for the race and dress weather appropriate

There will be live music, raffles and gift bags for all runners!
