_ The 2018 Faxon Law Fairfield Road Races:

The Faxon Law Fairfield Half Marathon is one of Connecticut’s favorite races. Starting on Fairfield's Jennings Beach, the half marathon course winds its way past stately mansions, picturesque beaches and quaint bridges in Fairfield, Southport and Westport. Runners from all over New England participate in this race!

Faxon Law Fairfield Half Marathon is held on Sunday, June 3rd.  

Faxon Law Fairfield 5K is held on Saturday, June 2nd

The Fairfield Half Marathon was founded in 1981 and is annually chosen by running magazines as one of the best races in America. Since its inception the event has raised funds for numerous charities. The Fairfield Fire Department and the Town of Fairfield have supported the event from the beginning providing many in kind services; from traffic and emergency services on raceday to thousands of volunteer hours by firefighters.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides "a different kind of healing" to more than 25,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
