_ The 2017 Blingin' In the New Year 1 Mile and 5K Fun Run:

Celebrate the New Year with an event of epic proportions!  Blingin' In the New Year 5K and Family Fun Run is a great start to the night festivities with a 5K party run or one mile fun run along the neighborhood surrounding the entertainment district in Downtown Ft. Walton Beach.  The race starts at 6pm.  There will be several libation stations along the course!  Your entry fee gets you all the bling that you'll need for New Year's Eve such as glowing jewelry, hats and noisemakers.  There will be an afterparty at KC's Sandbar including beer, champaigne punch, soft drinks and food.  Then stay and enjoy the celebration at The Landing with live music.  

This is a rain or shine event, sorry, no refunds.

Event details and schedule

Packet pick up will be Saturday, December 30 at Run With It, 170 Miracle Strip Pky SE from 4 til 6:00pm or Saturday, New Year's Eve from 4pm til race time.  Blingin' in the New Year is a great way to get your festivities started!  Fun for the whole family!  Race start is at 6pm which gets you back in time to enjoy the afterparty at KC's and still enjoy the party at The Landing.  This is a rain or shine event (moon shine that is)!  Those of legal drinking age (21 or older) must get a wristband to be able to drink alcohol during this event.  Come by packet pick up at Run With It between 4:00pm and 5:45pm on New Year's Eve to receive your wristband.  No Exceptions.  Participation limited to 300 people so sign up early!
