• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

We are proud to announce one of the few 5k races in San Tan Valley is hosted at Poston Butte High School. With limited amount of races occuring in our city, we cannot wait to run this event near us. All proceeds will go directly to Poston Butte's Cross Country program to help us cover the costs in becoming an elite program. This includes training costs, travel costs, meets around Arizona and California, and team apparel. The 5k will help kick off the track season for the Broncos and raise awareness for the youth of healthy lifestyle options in high school and beyond. 

This race is extremely flat and easy to navigate. You can set PR times running this loop around a farm field and our school. There are no streets to cross, 75% on dirt, and a great finishing environment with music and your time posted on the scoreboard as you finish.

Event details and schedule

Date: 1/27/18 Registration Fee: $35 online Location: Poston Butte High School Race Start Time: 8:30 AM Water Stations: At each mile mark. Bib: Slim, pin on paper bib, no electric timing. You will give bib at the finish line and we will have another person write your name on a card at the end to ensure placement, then times will be posted. In the mean time, you can see your time as you finish on the track with the scoreboard showing it in live timing.  Timing: Hand time.  What you receive for signing up: A Dri-Fit T-shirt from the PBHS Cross Country team. Goodies from sponsors: TBA. Post race snacks (bananas, Gatorade, water, etc.).  Raffle Items: Every entry gets 1 raffle ticket. You may purchase additional tickets at the race or on Active.com. Sponsors so far are Kneaders, Norwex, and Edible Arrangements.
