_ The 2018 Run For Jack New Year's 5k:

Run for Jack is a charity event whose mission is to raise awareness and support for those with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC).  Additionally the event engages the community in a fun event through a 5k run, one mile walk and kids fun run.  All proceeds are donated to the Arthrogryposis Support Group.  Awards will be presented at 11:30 am to the top 3 male and female finishers plus age group awards.  About Jack:  Jack Cavanaugh was born on December 31, 2013.  He was born at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and was diagnosed with a rare condition called Amyoplasia, a type of arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (or AMC).  Jack has joint contractures in all four of his limbs causing him very limited range of motion.  With countless hours of therapy and a few surgeries Jack has accomplished so many of his goals.  He is now attending preschool and we are very excited to see where 2018 will take him.
