_ The 2018 3rd Annual Panther Prowl 5K Run/Walk:

Come and run this fun 5K course beginning and ending at Hilsman Middle School in Athens, GA, as it travels through the neighborhood of Cedar Creek. Parking will be available at Gaines School Elementary. Proceeds from the race will benefit the PBIS (Positive Behavior) Incentive program and the IB Enrichment Academies at Hilsman Middle School.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7AM

5K: Starts at 8:30AM

Awards: Will be presented to the Overall Male & Female, Master Male and Female. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (male and female) in 5-year age groups beginning at 10 and under through 75 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.coolrunning.com and www.athlinks.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register before 1/26/18.  Those registering 1/26/18 through race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2018 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the race will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
