My Hope Chest's "Butterfly gloWalk, 5K FUN Run 2018" is taking flight at dusk soon... along downtown Tampa's beautiful Riverwalk!
This Family Friendly GloWalk 5KFun RUN FUNdraiser kicks off at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park on the water next to the Amalie Arena.
The music begins and race participant's prepare, visit the “face painters,” then on to the "Wing Fitter’s Station" to fasten their wings! Next, Butterfly Teams and participants set off on their 5K route, donning their colorful wings, lots of groovy glowing BLING and smiles for miles while enjoing the chill vibe and gorgeous Florida sunset along the river route. Walkers will follow runners for their 1 mile-ish walk (or whatever makes you happy) time on the Riverwalk! The 5K turn is at Curtis Hixon park where participants will be cheered for the last hurrah back to the finish line!
Awards immediately after at GLoW Party and awards ceremony will follow immediately with lots of BLING and awesome music to dance the night away until midnight!

- Butterfly Wings, 2 items of bling, a race T-shirt and participant’s medallion this is the Walk/Run to be on! After the race... a cup of beer or soda is also a part of the package! ("face painting" available for a donation)

“My Hope Chest’s unique mission is a call to ‘ACTION’ honoring breast cancer Survivors focused on breast restoration, a little known aspect of the disease in need of much support.” said My Hope Chest Founder, Alisa Savoretti. We are excited for even more Tampa Bay businesses, groups and individuals to join our crusade this year to help ‘finish’ for women what breast cancer had started. We are looking forward to an even larger turnout of folks at our 3rd annual event and party, raising funds and supporting our mission of ‘HAPPY’ and new beginnings for survivors!

Event details and schedule
Pre-Event Packet Pickup:
- Wednesday, April 11th 11-2pm and 5-7pm at a Tampa Location(TBD)
- Friday, April 13th 11-3pm. My Hope Chest Office: 7777 131st N STE 5, Seminole, Fl 33776
- Day of event at Cotanchobee Park.... Registration Check In Opens at 6pm.
Registration/check-in open at 6:00 pm. Please bring photo ID...waivers will be signed.
Pre-walk/run Rally: Kick-off gathering starts at Cotanchobee Park 6:00 pm!!
Walk/Run Starting Time: At dusk along the Riverwalk! Runners will begin the race with Walkers immediately following after their start. Depending on registration, we may have 2 heats.

We have created our own Butterfly World we call the "GLoW STation" where we will be selling many FUn hats, glow rings, necklaces, bracelets galore, just LOTS of Bling! Please wait to buy extra before the event...If available, friends can get wings too!
GloWPaRty! Tickets for sale for non-race paticipants to join the fun and the GloWpaRty.... Go On Sale, March 1st! Bling out your team with items for purchase from our "Glow Station!" 21 and over ONLY!
Parking: Various lots in downtown tampa- Harbor Island Garage. More details closer to the event.
Course is ON the RIVERWALK! Runners will have a 5K course down the paved walkway and back. Walkers will have a 1 mile course.
What to Bring: Just you and your peeps!
Invite friends to cheer you on and hang outwith race Butterflies and friends at the GloWPaRty after the event. Tickets $10 donation in advance, $15 at the door. At Eventbrite.com
Have fun! Sorry, no coolers, outside food or beverages.
What to wear: Dress yourself or your team in your craziest gear! Neon colors, bling it out! More "bling" available for purchase in our "Glow Station." And bring your smiles!
