Millstadt Tin Man Half Marathon and 5K Run...

_ The 2018 Millstadt Tin Man Half Marathon and 5K Run:

RACE COURSE -- 
The races will be both out and back, starting in Millstadt Village Park, turning left onto North Polk Street, then right onto Blackburn Manor, left onto Cedar Street, right onto West Washington/Kropp Road, left onto Triple Lakes Road, right onto Stemmler Road, and then right onto Bluffside Road.  The turn-a-round for both the half marathon and 5K will be marked. 

Half Marathon and 5K run through the Millstadt, IL countryside.

The Millstadt Tin Man Half Marathon and 5K Run will take place on April 15, 2018, beginning at 8:00 a.m. for both races at the Millstadt Village Park, on Kalbfleisch Street, off North Polk Street.  The Friends of the Old Millstadt Water Tower are sponsoring these races, with all of the funds earned going towards the restoration and preservation of the Old Millstadt Water Tower, Millstadt's most visible landmark.  Last year was a learning experience, and we listened to the feedback from the participants.  We will have more water stations, additional restroom facilities and April weather.  The races will be both out and back, starting in Millstadt Village Park, turning left onto North Polk Street, then right onto Blackburn Manor, left onto Cedar Street, right onto West Washington/Kropp Road, left onto Triple Lakes Road, right onto Stemmler Road, and then right onto Bluffside Road.  The turn-a-round for both the half marathon and 5K will be marked. 

Early packet pick-up will be on Saturday April 14 from 4-6 p.m. at the race start on Kalbfleisch Street.  Packets can also be picked up on race day, April 15, from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. at the pavillion on Kalbfleisch Street.  Parking will be available at Millstadt Primary Center, 105 W. Parkview Drive, and also at the Millstadt Swimming Pool, 300 W. Parkview Drive.
