_ The 2018 Niagara Edge 5K/10K & 1 Mile Walk:

Please join us on Sunday May 20, 2018 for the 3rd Annual Niagara Edge 5K and 10K! This event is being organized by Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and will start and finish at the Summit Healthplex. Proceeds from this event will benefit the concussion research, AT and PT programs at NFMMC and UBMDosm. Please come out and support the research being done on concussions.

Once again a $500 scholarship will be awarded to the fastest male and female high school senior running in the 5K race. Be sure to select the "senior" option when registering and let us know the name of your school. We will also recognize the school district that has the greatest number of participants with a special award!

In addition, custom Niagara Edge race shirts will be given to all runners who register by Monday May 14, 2018 at noon. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis.

Both races will start and finish in front of the Summit Healthplex using the following brand new USATF certified course maps:

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at our registration tent/Healthplex from 8:00 am right up until the start of the race at 10:00 am.
 

• 5K High School Students* .... $20/$25 after 5/17/18
• 5K Open Registration* ....... $25/$30 after 5/17/18
• 10K Open Registration* ...... $35/$40 after 5/17/18
• 1 Mile Walk Registration ..... $20

* Register by May 14, 2018 at noon to guarantee your official Niagara EDGE t-shirt!
* Trophy to the high school with the most participation!
* Graduating male and female high school senior runners will compete for a$500 college scholarship!
 

POST RACE CELEBRATION

Join us after the race for a post race celebration including food, snacks, refreshments, music and awards ceremony!

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking in the main parking lot of the Summit Healthplex.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers and awards will be presented to the top male and female 5K/10K runner in each of the following age groups: 

10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
