BE ADVISED THAT THIS EVENT WAS POSTPONED FROM IT'S ORIGINAL DATE OF JANUARY 1ST 2018 DUE TO THE COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS. Welcome to our "semi-revised" BASK New Year's Day 6th Annual Frozen Five Mile Run/Two Mile Walk. This year MAFOP Lodge #28 is PROUD to turn this event over to BASK!!! BASK is a 501c3 non-profit service dog foundation that provides and supports specially trained assistance dogs to enhance mobility and independance through K-9 partnership. This organization provides service K-9's to our Military Veterans free of charge. We welcome WALKERS to bring their WELL MANNERED, LEASHED dogs for this event. Registration includes a post run/walk breakfast!!!!!
Event details and schedule
Run/Walk will begin at 9am. Run Course is a 5 mile loop. Walk course is one mile out with a turn around one mile return. Registration tables will be open at 7:30am. Plenty of on site parking available with indoor facilities. Event takes place snow, rain or shine. Post run breakfast is included with all entries. IF MORE THAN ONE PERSON (ENTRY) PLANS ON HAVING BREAKFAST PLEASE E-MAIL RACE DIRECTOR SO WE CAN PLAN AHEAD. A DAY OF DONATION IS REQUESTED FOR ADDITIONAL MEAL(S). Trophy for Top Male and Female finishers. Awards for First and Second place Male and Female finishers in the following age divisions: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. You've probably noticed that we have no jersey sizes available. You probably have plenty of them already. So ALL ENTRY FEE PARTICIPANTS will receive a 23oz. soup mug engraved with the BASK Logo!!! One Soup Mug per walker group/family. REMINDER: WELL MANNERED LEASHED DOGS ARE WELCOME FOR WALK ONLY!!!
