_ The 28th Annual Brave Run 5K:
The 2018 Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun run is a run/walk that is open to all ages and abilities. The race is a cooperative effort of the OCMS Parent-Teacher Organization, OCMS faculty and staff and supporting sponsors.
Additional Information & Event Schedule:
Early packet pickup: 3/2/18 at the Oconee Middle School Gym from 4PM to 6PM
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Registration begins at 7AM on race day
Fun Run: Starts at 8AM
5K: Starts at 8:30AM
Awards Fun Run: Overall Male and Female. Awards to the first 100 finishers 14 and under in the fun run.
Awards 5K: Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, Grand Masters Male and Female. 3 deep in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 75 and over.
Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to coolrunning.com
Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 2/14/18. Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt. There will be plenty of refreshments.
Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2018 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
