_ The 2018 5K For Cam:

The 5k for Cam fundraiser, Saturday January 20th, is an officially timed 5K race and fun run. Proceeds benefit Cameron Elliott and his family. Cameron has a rare condition called Apert Syndrome. To date he has undergone 15 surgeries and numerous hospital stays, interventions, and therapy. But Cameron is a warrior! He is every bit of a seven year old and he faces his challenges with a smile!  With the help of Apert International and the Forsyth County Special Olympics, we hope to raise awareness for children like Cameron so that we can help others understand how to talk and treat others with differences. 

We will have an officially timed 5k as well as a 1 mile fun run for kids! Make sure to stick around for fun kid friendly activities after the runs!

Packet Pickup: Located at CycleBar downtown Winston Salem, Friday 4pm-7pm. Additional pick up Saturday morning 7am-8am at the race location. 400 West Fourth Street, Suite 120, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Long sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by January 1st. 

Course: The Muddy Creek Greenway is one of Winston Salem's friendliest runs! It's sunny, flat and scenic. The course will be an out and back on the paved greenway trail. 

Awards: Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, male & female, in age categories 8-17, 18-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-64 and 65+

Parking: Parking will be located at the dog park section of the Muddy Creek Greenway off of Meadowlark Drive. Overflow parking is located behind Jefferson Middle School, next to the park.
