• *We are unable to provide refunds or transfers to another participate, but can change your registration to a virtual runner (no difference in cost will be refunded for change)

The 2018 Charity Beneficiary

The charity beneficiary for the 2018 Heroes in Recovery 6K is MARR’s Right Side Up (RSU), which offers long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment for women with dependent children under the age of 13. Women need a safe, structured environment to develop the skills necessary to achieve lasting recovery. RSU’s services are designed to help clients obtain employment, restore relationships with their loved ones, retain and/or regain custody of their children, give birth to drug-free infants and become valuable, productive members of the community. MARR continues to set the standard in long-term, gender-specific addiction treatment for chemically dependent men and women. Dedicated staff members are committed to bringing each client lifelong recovery through intensive, high-quality programs that are centered on the therapeutic community model. They walk with clients for life.

Interested in helping out at the Heroes 6K Run/Walk in Atlanta, GA? Volunteers have the option to run the race, too! Each volunteer will receive a Heroes volunteer shirt at check-in.
