Nashville Running Company's Dry Creek Trail Races includes 3 distance options -- a marathon, half marathon, and 10K+. The race is run entirely through Cheatham Wildlife Management Area -- a scenic and expansive 20,000 acre natural environment just northwest of Nashville. With sections of fast, soft packed jeep roads, single track trails in the deep woods, a stream crossing, and only one significant climb (that magically becomes steeper the second time around for those running the marathon), this is the perfect course for trail pros and novices alike! The Marathon course is 2x the Half course which allows us to provide racers with Aid Stations about every 3 miles. The 10K+ is back for 2018. Racers will experience all of the beauty, stream crossings, and climbs of the full and half marathon course -- with just fewer miles. Why is it called a 10K+? You get an extra mile or so for the price of a 10K -- you're welcome!
**Online Registration closes Thurs, Feb 15th at midnight. Register in person at packet pick-up Saturday or Race Day
**Shirt availability are ONLY guaranteed to participants who register BY January 31.
A portion of the proceeds from Dry Creek Trail Races is given back to Cheatham Wildlife Management Area. If you feel like donating more, there's an option to do just that on the registration page!
There will be water at course aid station, but it will not have cups. You MUST carry your own handheld if you plan to drink from the stations. We are doing this in an effort to cut down on course trash and keep the parks clean.
• Plan to bring and keep all food trash on your person at all times. If you are seen throwing trash on the ground, you will be disqualified from any award opportunity. There will be trash receptacles at the aid station.
