2018 West Union Triathlon & 5K - -

• Reverse Sprint Triathlon :- Run 3.1 Miles, Bike 16 Miles, Swim 400 Yards
• 5K Run :- Run 3.1 Miles

_ The 2018 West Union Triathlon and 5K Run:

The 11th annual triathlon will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the West Union Recreation Park. It will include a 3.1-mile run, 16-mile bike ride, and 400 yd swim. Individuals or teams can enter the competition.

This year we are adding a 5k along with the triathlon.

You can do either but not both races.

Run:

• The race begins with a 3.1-mile run, which starts at the Aquatic Center and winds around the North Fayette Cross-Country course.
• It incorporates the beautiful fields and trails from the West Union Recreation Park into the course and brings you back to the transition area located in the Aquatic Center parking lot.

 
Bike:

• The 16-mile, challenging, bike ride will take you on county blacktop and concrete roads north of West Union and loop you back to the Aquatic Center.

Swim:

• The swim consists of 8 lengths of the pool, approximately 200 yards.
• It is a serpentine swim with a zero entry depth exit.
