Kick off the fall racing season with southwest Florida's oldest & best Labor Day tradition.
Going GREEN1In an effort to do our part for the environment, the Canes Classic is moving towards becoming a GREEN event. What does this mean? We are moving away from paper registration and encouraging online registration by offering lower entry fees online. We will have recycling at the race for plastic water bottles and we will be collecting old running shoes and t-shirts to recycle at various local charities.SAFETY GUIDELINES2Insurance does not cover the following, therefore they are not allowed: headphones or radio headsets, strollers or baby joggers, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, & animals. A portion of the proceeds benefit the team by helping cover the costs of transportation to meets during the season, entry fees to meets, uniforms, warm ups, etc. Last year we donated $250 to Save the Manatee Club's Emergency Rescue Fund for manatee rescue & recovery from the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf.REFUND POLICY8There are no refunds, transfers or credits, as this is a fundraiser with proceeds being distributed to non-profits. In addition, all the costs to put on the event, which are substantial, have already been spent.
