_ The 2018 JMMY Run:

Come and join a beautiful 1mile, 5k, 10k, Half-marathon through the rolling hills and Lake Champlain shoreline (1/2 marathon) in Georgia, VT to benefit the Jimmy Messier Memorial Youth Ctr!

The first and foremost goal of our non-profit organization is to provide a safe place for kids to grow and thrive. We strive to provide access for children in our community to a safe environment to grow, through activity clubs, game nights, outdoor movies, summer trips including hiking, paddleboarding, fishing, photograghy walks, etc...   The JMMY Run is our major fundraiser and all of the proceeds go directly to helping kids.  We are all volunteers so there is NO overhead and NO paid staff.  Every dollar is used to benefit the kids.  SIGN UP TODAY and join the fun.

Welcome to the JMMY Run 2018!

Kids run start: 8am

5k, 10k, Half-marathon start:9:00am

Race packets will be available for pick up at the JMMY Ctr on Friday May 11th. Times for pick up will be finalized and forwarded as the race approaches.

There is no on-site parking. Buses will be running every few minutes from Georgia Elementary and Middle School starting at 7am. Race day registration is available from 7am to 8am. Race day can be a bit hectic so please arrive early enough to make the bus and pick up packet if not done prior. No shirts will be available for 5k, 10k, Half-marathon Race day registrations. Limited shirts may be available for race day registration for the 1 mile Kid's run.

The race course for the Kid's Run is CLOSED to traffic.

The race course for the 5k, 10k, Half-marathon is OPEN to traffic. Please be aware while running as there is typically light traffic on the course.

The 5k and 10k courses are an out and back set up with rolling hills along the way.

The half-marathon course is a loop that takes you along the beautiful Georgia Shore of Lake Champlain. Our course has gotten many compliments over the years for being fun and very scenic.
