_ The 2018 Paces for Paws:

Paces for PAWS is a dog friendly event so please bring your best canine companions to participate in the festivities (don't forget leashes, please)! 

With this event, we hope to provide an opportunity for people of all ages in our community to help homeless and abandoned animals receive the medical care, shelter and companionship they need until their forever homes are found. Therefore, all proceeds from this event will go to support those animals at PAWS.

Event check-in will begin at 7:00 AM, with the 5k Race beginning at 8:00 AM. If running isn't your thing, you can still join in on the fun! The 1 mile Family Fun Walk will begin at 9:30 AM; walk with your dogs, kids or friends; come out in silly hats or costumes; make it your own and most importantly, have some fun!

Come join us! Enjoy the outdoors with your 2 & 4 legged friends, visit with some pet-related vendors, get some event swag (maybe even an award!), and support a good cause. We look forward to seeing you there! 

A level, packed granite stone trail along the Passagassawakeag River. Suitable for foot, ski, bike and wheelchair compatible recreation. The trail begins at the Armistice Footbridge on the waterfront in Belfast, ME.

From downtown Belfast, access the trail by the Armistice footbridge on the waterfront at the end of Water Street & Pierce Street.
