Miss Georgia 5K Pajama Run / Walk benefits the Miss Georgia Scholarship
Fun and Children's Miracle Network. Please wear your cutest and most
"tastefully" outlandish pajamas to the party!
The Course1The race starts in front of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts on Broadway in Historic Uptown Columbus. It will go north on Broadway to 13th Street. The route will then circle back south on Broadway, go past teh RiverCenter, and continue south for four more blocks. The race then makes one additional loop over the same course ending back at the RiverVenter for awards, and prizes!Awards2Awards will be given to the top two overall male and Female winners.Age group awards will be given to the top two M/F in each division: 14 and under, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50-59 and 60+About the Miss Georgia Scholarship Fund3The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance.About Children's Miracle Network Hospitals4Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals. Donations to CMN create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that saves and improves the lives of 17 million children each year. Through its continuous efforts to help kids, CMN has raised more than $3.4 billion to date, most of which is donated a dollar or two at a time by caring individuals.
