Description
Come celebrate Labor Day and help homeless pets find homes by running
the 1st ANNUAL RUN FOR THE RESCUES 5K and 1K FUN RUN DOG TROT. The race
begins and ends at Hopewell Baptist Church and is run on paved streets.
The course will be a double loop that is flat to gently rolling.
Awards,
shirts and goodies15K Awards will be given to the Overall Male/Female
and Overall Masters Male/Female. Age group awards will be 3 deep in
standard age groups from 10 and under to 75 and over. T-Shirts are
guaranteed to all pre-registered runners. T-Shirts are not guaranteed
to race day registrations but will be given out while supplies last.
There will be plenty of fruit and fluids before and after the race.Other

must be well behaved, vaccinated and on a leash. Please clean up after
your pets while on church property and on the race course.Parking and
Directions3Take I-575 to Exit 11 (Sixes Rd). Go west on Sixes Rd to
Ridge Rd. Turn left on Ridge Rd, the church is 34 mile on the left.
