Please join us for our 10K & 5K Trail Run and 1K
Run/Walk/Roll/Stroll for Autism Awareness. This event will be chip
timed. Every participant will receive a free event tee shirt (while
supplies last).
Groups1If you have a group that is interested in running, please contact Suad Bisogno for rates. 818-361-6400 ext. 152 or [email protected] Course2The 10K and 5K run will be on a trail on the north-east corner of the park. 1 1/2 miles into the 10K trail one will encounter a stream. Depending on the stream, runners will have to run through light to moderate water. Both trail courses are developed but do have 3 areas where runners need to be cautious of their footing. The 1K will wrap around the small lake near the aquatic center. This route is fully developed.Time Table - Day of Event38:00 am - Registration and packet pickup 9:00 am - 10K and 5K trail runs begin 9:15 am - 1K Run/Walk/Roll begins 10:00am - Community Event Begins 10:30 am - Award CeremonyRegistration & Packet Pick-up4October 1st, 2011 at Hansen Dam Park - 8:00 am to 8:45 am.Awards5The top 3 male and female runners will receive an award. The top male and female runners in the following age group will receive a metal: 18 and younger; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60 and over. All runners that complete the race will receive a medal. All runners will receive a goody bag with T-shirt. (Order will be based on pre-registered participants. Estimate will be done for same-day registrants.)Directions6Enter Hansen Dam on Osborne Street and Dronfield Avenue. Take Dronfield Avenue into the park. You will hit a 3-way intersection. Make left. You will hit a 2-way intersection. Make a right. (at this point, you can see the registration center to your left in the grassy shaded field.)
