_ The 2018 A Race to Remember: 5K for Alzheimer's:
Bears for Elder Welfare is hosting its third annual 5k walk/run, “A Race to Remember: 5K for Alzheimer’s,” with the intent of raising awareness and educating the community about Alzheimer’s Disease, raising funds for charities involved with Alzheimer’s drug research and patient care, and increasing volunteerism toward individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Water and snacks will be provided.

3/3 - 3/31 Early Bird Registration: $17.99
4/1 - 4/13 Regular Registration: $23.99
4/14 Day-of Registration: $23.99; this will be a written application which can be filled out between 8AM -10AM at the Campanile Esplanade. Eventbrite registration will not be available for Day-of Registration.
Event Timeline
Registration opens at 8AM followed by a warmup exercise and guest speaker. Race participants will have the opportunity to visit educational, arts and crafts, and sponsor booths. Race officially begins at 10AM.

Liability Information
Each race registrant will be required to sign and present a copy of a Waiver of Liability form before participating in the race. Registrants under the age of 18 will also need to provide proof of permission to participate by having a legal guardian read and sign the waiver form. Registrants under 18 must also be accompanied by a guardian.
