Our 2018 Take a Run at Hunger is Saturday, June 2nd 8:00am at Two Rivers Park. 

In June 2015, Performance Foodservice - Little Rock held its Inaugural Family 5K and 1 Mile Walk aimed at two worthwhile goals - promoting health and fitness among its associates and raising money for the Arkansas Foodbank Summer Cereal Drive. 

Appropriately enough, the theme for the day was "Take a Run at Hunger," and that's exactly what 21 associates and their families did, raising more than $700 and collecting cereal at the event.  With children home for the summer without access to school-provided meals, cereal is a critical need for most food banks across the country during the summer months.

Last year we raised $10,000 and had over 200 participants!  We could not have done this without people like you.  We were able to provide 40,000 meals.  Our goal for 2018 is to raise $15,000 and 500 participants.

Entry fees are non-refundable.  Postponement of the race may occur due to lightning in the area.
