 _ 2018 Derby's B.E.S.T. 5k Run:

The 5k Run/walk will be conducted on the beautiful Derby Greenway. It will start on the industrial park road behind BJs located at 20 Division Street. The course will proceed from the starting line on industrial park road onto the Greenway, enter the loop in the Greenway after crossing under the railroad trestle and return to the industrial park road for the finish line.

The 5k course will proceed from the start / finish line on the industrial park access road and loop by the fountain at Division Street onto the Greenway. It will continue on the Greenway and go under Route 8. After crossing under the railroad trestle it will turn right and then follow the loop in the Greenway back to the railroad trestle where it will turn right and head back to the start / finish line. A great course to run a personal best on!

The Mile Walk and Children’s Fun Run events follow the same course as the 5k. There is a cone that marks a half mile at the cone the participants reverse course and head back to the start / finish line.  but at the half mile
