_ The 2018 Habitat Hammerbird 5K and One Mile Fun Run:
This unique race gives participants a chance to see first-hand the Boston-Thurmond neighborhood, where Habitat for Humanity has built, remodeled or repaired more than 210 houses since 1985. Runners and walkers begin and end the 5K at Kimberley Park Elementary School, where a number of children from Habitat families are past or current students.
Prizes for both overall and age group winners are hand-crafted by Habitat volunteers. All participants ages 8 and older receive a t-shirt. (We cannot guarantee requested t-shirt sizes for those registering after April 18.)
REGISTER, CREATE/SIGN UP FOR A TEAM, OR DONATE! (If you are creating a team or joining an existing one, select the GROUP/TEAM option on the registration site.) We welcome volunteers as well!
