THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO BOTH RUNNERS AND HIKERS! Come join us for a fun
and challenging 10K course through the scenic Barry M. Goldwater Range.
This new and exciting course offers breathtaking views of the Gila
Mountains and will take you through the historic Fortuna Mine. Aid
stations will be provided throughout the course.
SPECIAL INSTRCTIONS- PLEASE READ!1This event will be held in a beautiful, but remote, area of the Barry M. Goldwater Range. In order to reach the start/finish line, participants will need to either be shuttled to/from the parking area (leaving every 15 mins. starting at 6:30am) or they will need to drive a high clearance vehicle (truck/SUV). 4WD is NOT required.Please arrive early and allow 20 mins to travel the trail from the entrance to the BMGR of the start/finish line.Rules2**RUNNERS DO NOT HAVE TO WEAR A PACK AND WILL COMPETE ONLY AGAINST OTHER RUNNERS.** Hikers must bring their own pack with weight (15 lbs for Scouts, 20 lbs Women, 30 lbs Men). Packs will be weighed before/after the race.Location, Directions, and Course Map3This event will be held in the Barry M. Goldwater Range, around the historic Fortuna Mine.
