_ The 2018 Daleville JROTC Cinco de Mayo 5K and Family Fun Day:

The Cinco de Mayo 5K Run and Family Fun Day will be held in Daleville, Alabama, Saturday, May 5, 2018. The event will include a 5K run and a Color Run. Inflatables, dunking booth as well as other activities will be available from 8am until noon. The proceeds from this event will benefit both the Daleville High School JROTC and the Daleville High School Band (Pride of the South)

Late Registration and Packet Pickup

When: 5 May 2018 between 7:00 and 8:00am (Late registration- $25) in the JROTC building

Race day setup starts at 6:00AM

Race Day Schedule

               6:00 a.m. Volunteers start setup

              7:00 – 8:00 a.m. Late Registration

              8:00 a.m. – 12:00 Family Fun Day Begins

              8:30 a.m. 5K Starts in front of Daleville High School

             10:00 -10:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony

             11:00 Color Fun Run Starts

Cinco de Mayo 5K Run. The run begins in front of Daleville High School, goes thru the Daleville area neighborhoods; there will be water stations throughout the course. Women, men, boys and girls are all invited to run/walk the 5K (3.1 miles), run the one-mile Color Run, or both.

The Family Fun Day activities are opened from 8 a.m. to noon. Entry fee into the fun day activities is free if you registered and ran the 5K. If you only want to do the Fun Day activities and Color Run there will be a fee of $10.00.

•Dogs allowed as long as on on a leash.

•We welcome strollers and walkers to please line up behind runners.

•Parking is available at the High School.

•Race staffed by volunteers for assistance.

•Traffic control coordinated by local law enforcement.

•Race electronically timed for fast, accurate results.

•Race Day refreshments for all participants.

•T-Shirts are available to pre-order the day of the event for $20.00

•Sponsor product displays and samples; tons of fun!!

•Post-race awards ceremony with awards for top three finishers in each category and trophies for the top 3 overall male and female and the top team.
