_ The 2018 LA Kings Beach Cities 5K/10K:

The Redondo Beach coastline sets the stage for the LA Kings Beach Cities 5K/10K, the kick-off event for the 2018-19 LA Kings season.

Run, glide, skip or skate your way through downtown shops and restaurants, past beach homes and the sparkling ocean water to the start of training camp. LA Kings players, Bailey, Ice Crew and more will be there…not to mention the event’s esteemed host, Daryl Evans!

Entry fees include a ticket for a 2018-19 LA Kings pre-season home game, plus a race t-shirt and participant medal! All proceeds benefit the Hydrocephalus Association.

Event details and schedule

SCHEDULE

Please plan on arriving 60-90 minutes prior to your race’s scheduled start time to give yourself plenty of time to park, get your LA Kings Beach Cities 5K/10K race swag, check-in if needed, and to get situated.

5K & 10K start times will be announced prior to the event. 

PACKET PICK-UP

Opportunities to pick up your Packet will be held in advance of the race. If you cannot make those times, you will be able to pick-up at the event starting at 6:30am!

RACE SWAG

All 5K and 10K participants will receive a race t-shirt and finishers medal.

FREE PRE-SEASON TICKET

Register for the race before June 2 to receive a voucher for a free LA Kings pre-season game!

AWARDS

A $250 cash prize will be awarded the overall top male and female 1st place finishers, $150 to the 2nd place male and female finisher and $75 to the 3rd place male and female finishers. Additional awards will be distributed to the top performers in each male and female age category.

PARKING
There is limited parking available on residential streets as well as paid parking lots. Please arrive early and bring cash!

NO BAG CHECK
Please note that there is NO bag check. So leave your valuables in the car or take what you want with you!

PRE-RACE PARTY
Starts 1 hour before the race. There will be music and more! 

WATER STATIONS
There will be a water station on the course and at the finish line.

REFUNDS
Please note we do not offer refunds, if you are unable to join us, please you may transfer your registration.
