_ The 2018 Lauren's Run 5K:
Lauren's Run 5K, 2K & Tot Trot is hosted by Cure Childhood Cancer and is in memory of two Lauren's, Lauren Zagoria and Lauren Kochman, both of whom lost their battles with cancer. Its an chance to bring the community together, and raise money for lifesaving pediatric cancer research, and celebrate the kids and their families impacted by cancer. Since its inception in 1992, Lauren's Run has raised more than $3.6 million.
6:30am - Race Day Registration & Race Number Pick-up (closes at 10:00am)
7:45am - Warm-up for the 5K
8:00am - 5K Run /Walk START
9:00am - 5K Awards Ceremony
9:30am - Warm-up for the 2K
9:45am - 2K Fun Run / Walk
10:30am - Tot Trot
10:45am - CURE Picnic begins (ends at 1:00pm)
Parking for the race and the picnic is available in the several parking decks in the Concourse Office Park. The closest ones to the race site are as follows: Buliding #1 Parking Deck, Building #4 Parking Deck and Building #5 & #6 Parking Deck. Expect delays getting to the parking decks if you are arriving around the start of the 5K (7:45am to 8:10am) or the 2K (9:30am to 9:55am). These parking lots can be accessed from either the Peachtree Dunwoody Road or Hammond Drive entrances to the office park.
RACE & PICNIC SAFETY RULES:
5K Race Route is not stroller friendly. Please do the 2K if you plan to push a stroller. The safety of the children is our main concern.
NO PETS PLEASE!!!!!!!!
ALL registered race participants are invited to stay for the CURE Picnic. There will be plenty of interactive games for the kids of all ages, and lunch provided by several of Atlanta well known restuarants. Its always a great event.
