The The Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run for Haiti is a mostly flat, fast, out and back course over Southbury streets and beautiful scenic country roads with gentle/rolling hills. 

This past year our sponsors, through their generosity, have made access to healthcare in Grand Boulage a reality!!  On Monday, October 10th of 2016 over 100 patients were seen by the first visit by Dr. Wilken's mobile medical clinic that made this historic first step towards a healthier population in our parish village.  Funds raised in this annual race will continue to support this mobile medical clinic which makes weekly visits to Grand Boulage, and will continue to pay for teachers' salaries, textbooks, canteen and other classroom supplies in the primary and secondary school there. We are extremely grateful for your on-going commitment to the people of our twin parish in Haiti!  Your help is definitely needed to continue this great mission; as we grow and expand our outreach to Grand Boulage.

 _ The 5K Run/Walk will take place at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South in Southbury. (Note that the church sits on the corner of Main Street South and South Britain Road (route 172), and although the official address of the church is on Main Street South, the main entrance to the parking lot is on South Britain Road.)

Please arrive early! Access to the entrance to the church parking lot from route 172/South Britain Road will be closed off at approximately 8:20 prior to the Kid's Hoof It Fun Run starts. If the church parking lots fill up or if you arrive late, additional parking is available across the street from the church in the Commuter lot, next door at Jordan's restaurant, or at the office complex next door to the church at 900 Main Street South. Please DO NOT park at Riverglen Health Care or on any roads surrounding the church. - Map & Directions
