_ The 2018 Somers Great Escape:

Presenting the 19th Annual Somers Great Escape 5k Race! This is a true "destination" race. Come enjoy USATF Certified Courses, that wind you through the bucolic scenery of Somers, CT. Immediately after the race, take in the parade, which officially opens the historic 4-Town Fair. Then, head to the Fair for some awesome food, rides, and a "Free Beverage for a Race Bib" at the beer garden, hosted by the Somers Rotary! Bring the family and enjoy the day in Somers! Bib pickup and race day registration open by 7:00AM. The 5k starts promptly at 8:00AM. 

There is plenty of parking on the Somers Public School Campus. Runners will be professionally "chip" timed.
