_ The 2018 Veterans Day Classic 3 Miler presented by AT&T Veterans ERG CT/NE:

Join us for the 2nd annual salute to our Veterans - Veterans Day Weekend!

We invite you to run or walk at the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs complex in Rocky Hill CT. We have chosen 3 miles - a true American Distance. The looping course features a scenic viewpoint when you get to the top campus. We encourage all abilities to join us!  Great shirts and swag will be given out but make sure you pre-register in time to guarantee sizing.

Net proceeds raised will be donated to AT&T Veterans ERG of CT/New England and Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs that will support veterans outreach programs throughout Connecticut and New England.

Awards to the mens' and womens' champions as well as three deep in nine age groups!  

*Post-race refreshments include bagels, bananas, and fluids.
*The race will be timed!
*Plenty of parking will be available in lots, designated areas, (no parking on the race course). 
*A long sleeve cotton shirt will be given to all entrants registered by Oct 29 (then, as available)
*A free Kids’ Fun Run offering a non-competitive, 1/4 mile race for kids 12 and younger only, and a scamper for the little tykes - weather permitting. All kids receive a finisher medal!

REGISTRATION FEES
Registration limit- 500 people.  Sign up now, before it’s too late! 
Runners & walkers - $27 for ages 19 & over; $17 for ages 18 & under

*Online Registration ends November 7 at 8pm
 

There is no registration available on Nov 8 & 9.

Race Day Registration Saturday, Nov 10 from 7:30-8:45 am:  $30 for ages 19 & over; $20 for ages 18 & under  Please bring exact cash or check. Shirts for race day sign up may not be available. Please try to pre-register.

Marty Schaivone is the coordinator of more than 30 races in CT, including the Milford Moves for Veterans, the Colony Grill Hot Oil Run, Bigelow Tea Community Challenge in Fairfield, the Great Pumpkin Classic at Trumbull High School, and many more races in Fairfield County.
