_ The 2018 Tacos N' Ritas Run:

Want to pick up your race bib early?  We highly recommend it.

On Friday May 4th you can pick up your bib at Fusion Fitness Center located at 280 East Main Street Suite 118 Newark DE 19711 from 5pm till 8pm.

Please do not come earlier than 5pm as our volunteers will not be there to help yet.

You will only be picking up your bib.  Your SWAG will have to be picked up at the Deer Park on race day.

DAY OF REGISTRATION

You can pick up your bib on Sunday May 6th starting at 8:30am in the Deer Park Parking lot.  Registration tables will close at 9:45am so please make sure you give yourself enough time to park, get your bib, and get to the starting line on Amstel Ave. by 10am.

Post race party begins at 10:30am till 12:30pm.

We will have a DJ upstairs and Acoustic Music outside.

You will need your bib to get your tacos and margaritas.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Do not fear Newark Parking.  We have plenty of it.

There is a parking garage right across from the Deer Park Tavern.  This is a U of D owned garage.

The City of Newark has street parking and lots available.

Street meter parking.  The rate is $1.25 per hour.

Municipal parking lots.  The rate is $1.00 per hour.

Here is a link of the virtual parking map.  We recommend lot #1, #3, and #4.

OUR CHARITY PARNTER - FUSION INCLUSION

What is Fusion Inclusion all about?
Fusion Inclusion is not just a movement. Fusion Inclusion is about movement.

It’s about making it possible for people with physical and cognitive challenges to participate in local races by giving them access to adaptive running chairs. Fusion Inclusion was started by Nic DeCaire and Steve Sinko to make it possible for everyone to cross the finish line at a race in Delaware, no matter their challenges.

Inclusion running offers many benefits, but right now it is an exception at most races. Many people, young and old, want to be included but their physical limitations keep them from participating.

So far, five chairs have been purchased at a cost of about $4,900 each through Team Hoyt Running Chairs. These chairs are named for the famous father-and-son running duo, Dick and Rick Hoyt, who ran the Boston Marathon 32 times. These chairs are lightweight, strong and comfortable.

Buffalo Wild Wings, STAR Health at the University of Delaware, Celebrate Love Always and Independence Prosthetics and Orthotics have teamed up with Fusion Inclusion to make these chairs available.
