_ The 2018 Clermont Clay 15K & 5K:
Run a 15K or 5k on the famous Clermont clay loop. The event producer is South Lake Multisport Events, Inc a nonprofit created in order to raise awareness and money for running trails in south Lake County. Please note that because of pending construction we cannot guarantee the course yet, but we are assured they are not touching 5-mile Road for paving.
Thanks to the volunteer efforts of everyone involved, we raised nearly $39,000 year to date to put towards endurance venues in South Lake County.
We are excited to announce that the races will be returning this year!

Packet Pickup
Friday October 26th 4-6:30 PM and Saturday, October 27th, 12pm-4pm National Training Center/Gear for Multisport, 1935 Don Wickham Drive, Clermont, FL 34711 If you are unable to pick up your packet at early packet pick up, you may have a friend or family member pick up for you, no I.D. required.
Packets will also be available for pick the on race day at race location starting at 6:30am
15K Registration: (all registration is non-refundable)

ONLINE Registration Closes at Midnight on October 24th
Technical Trucker Hat: All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a commemorative technical trucker hat. A hat is not guaranteed if registered after October 10th.
Finisher Medal: All registered participants that complete either race will receive a finishers medal.
Chip timing: The 15k and 5k will be chip timed with a 'gun' start.
Time Restriction: All participants must be able to maintain a pace of at least 16 minute per mile and must be able to finish in at least 2 1/2 hours.
Restrictions: For safety reasons no pets of any kind are allowed on the race course. Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course. Baby joggers and strollers are welcome, however this is a clay surface so it may be difficult to push, so they are not recommended.
There will be 4 aid stations on the 15k (miles 2, 4, 6, 7.8) and 1 aid station on the 5k (mile 1.5). They will be stocked with water, electrolyte drink and aid stations at mile 6 and 7.8 will have energy gels.
