_ The 2018 Beach House 5K and Sand & Sun Fest:
The BEACH House 5K and Sand & Sun Fest, hosted by the Ocean Deck, will take place on the beach outside the restaurant, which is located at 127 S. Ocean Avenue, Daytona Beach.
DATE: Saturday, November 3, 2018
TIME: Race begins at 10am - Packet pickup and onsite registration starts at 8:00 am
COURSE: 5K out and back starting and ending at the Ocean Deck
For runners, this a chip timed event with age group awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, and best overall male and female. In honor of Veterans Day, there will also be special prizes for 1st place by US military branch for any veteran or active military member who participates. If you aren't a runner, no worries, the event also serves as an awareness walk and fundraiser for SMA Behavioral Health Services. Funds raised through your participation will go to BEACH House and other programs at SMA.
